Anticitera Grecia Primavera/Autunno 2008 Questa primavera e il prossimo autunno svolgeremo osservazioni nell'area dei Balcani e più precisamente su Anticitera un'isola a circa trenta chilometri a Nord-Ovest da Creta non lontano dal Peloponneso. Scopo di questa ricerca è analizzare la migrazione del Falco pecchiaiolo attraverso il Mediterraneo orientale. Le osservazioni saranno svolte in collaborazione con Bird Life Grecia. I periodi di osservazioni saranno da metà aprile a fine maggio e da metà agosto a fine settembre. Per informazioni contattateci. Requisiti: buone capacità nel riconoscimento dei rapaci in volo e la disponibilità ad effettuare diverse ore di osservazione al giorno dallo stesso punto. Il progetto è autofinanziato si richiede dunque la partecipazione alle spese. Antikythera Greece Spring/Autumn 2008 Next Spring and Autumn we are going to make observations on an island 30 Km North-West from Creta. The aim of this research is to analyze the migration of Honey buzzard across the Eastern Mediterranean. Observations are planning together with Bird Life Greece. The observation periods will be from mid April to the end of May and from mid August to the end of September. If you have previous experiences in monitoring raptor migration and are ready to be outside for many hours a day, observing the sky from the same watchpoint, contact us for furhter information. The project is completely self financed and then expenses can't be refound, in some cases accomodation is free.
